Iris 10
Type A Semi-Static Canyoning Rope
The IRIS 10 is a Type A semi-static canyoning rope designed to deliver maximum safety, strength, and durability in the most demanding conditions. Manufactured using SUMMUM System technology, which combines STABILITY and TITAN System, it offers outstanding abrasion resistance, excellent stability, and consistent performance throughout its service life.
Specifically developed for intensive canyoning and caving use, it incorporates the proven performance of the renowned DANA and FINA ropes, improving handling during technical maneuvers while providing excellent rope control.
The IRIS 10 is the world’s only rope featuring a longitudinal bi-color design, an exclusive characteristic that makes rope identification easier during use.
It is also factory pre-shrunk, eliminating the need to soak it before its first use. Straight from the spool to the vertical environment, maintaining its length and performance from the very first descent.
FINISHES
ECO System
The ECO System finish provides impermeability to the rope and greater resistance to abrasion, increasing the durability of the rope. We introduced PFC-free compounds in order to deliver durable and waterproof performance without the environmental concerns associated with long-chain fluorocarbons elements.
Summum System
Summum is the constructive System of the KORDA’S third generation. This join the already known Stability and Titan System, achieving with this a maximum union between core and sheath and an even higher safety, thanks to the addition of the advantages of the two different systems with proved experience.
Durability
High resistance to abrasion and more pleasant to the touch.
